Namsai | August 15, 2025 — The Dhamma Aid Foundation (DAF) proudly celebrated the 79th Independence Day of India with patriotic fervor and active participation across various locations in Namsai.
The day began with a flag hoisting ceremony at the DAF Headquarters and Dhamma Shelter Home, where residents, volunteers, and staff gathered to pay tribute to the nation. Cultural performances, patriotic songs, and speeches by the youth and coordinators added meaning to the celebration.
DAF members also participated in the official district-level Independence Day function held at the General Ground, Namsai, joining local dignitaries and citizens in commemorating the nation's freedom.
In addition, the Foundation took part in the special Independence Day Exhibition organized at the APIL Ground, showcasing the work and initiatives of DAF, Dhamma Shelter Home, and District De-Addiction Centre (DDAC), Namsai. Staff and volunteers engaged with the public to spread awareness about social welfare, mental health, and community development.
The day concluded with a shared message of unity, resilience, and continued service to society.
